Lightweight duty shoe for heat and wet ground

Where it is hot or the ground stays wet, a heavy leather boot quickly becomes a burden. According to the manufacturer, the Speed Assault 2 is built for speed and agility in warm weather and wet environments, from arid terrain to jungle.

Lacing and protection

It is laced with the quickLACE system, a thin, strong cord that tightens with a single pull. A lace pocket takes the excess loop. A gusseted tongue, soft collar, protective toecap and mudguard protect the foot, and the materials used are non-reflective.

Outsole and cushioning

The rubber outsole combines chevron lugs for multi-directional grip with Mud Contagrip for loose, soft and uneven ground. The EnergyCell EVA midsole absorbs shock, and a moulded OrthoLite sockliner completes the footbed.
